Most of the famed Flying L Hill Country Resort in Bandera County may be headed to foreclosure.

Trey West Vacations, which owns the property, had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Sept. 4 to prevent the credit union from foreclosing on the property the next day.

Trey West President Robert “Jody” J. Jenkins Jr. and ranch General Manager Susan Jenkins didn’t respond to a request for comment. Dean Greer, the company’s bankruptcy lawyer, also didn’t return a call. The credit union didn’t immediately respond to an email.

Randolph-Brooks last month filed court papers seeking permission to foreclose on the property, stating that Trey West was not making progress on its efforts to exit bankruptcy.
